  I am MARIA MAILA CASIDO,41 years old,a Filipina.I came to Israel last November 17,2007 to work as a caregiver.But I am an English teacher by profession.I teach English,Health,Physical Education and Music for 17 years in our country but in my desire to give good future for my children I decided to work abroad. I worked to Shulamit Frish for 3 years and 5 months but she died last April 27,2011 at the age of 84 due to mild stroke and other complications.I love her so much though my work for her was quite difficult because she cannot stand alone and walk very very slowly because of her hip and leg fracture which opearated many years ago that impaired all her movement and walking capacity.On her last year,she suffered from many health problems but during those times,I doubled all my efforts to serve her the best I can.That's why the family,especially the children loves me so much. After she died,her daughter in law took me to take care of her mother who was very sick because of skin cancer.At first I'm having a second thought to accept the job,but because I also knew the woman and she told me that she hope I can also be her metapelet because she likes me so much,I set aside my personal interest and I accepted the job of being her metapelet. She was bed ridden for two months,hospitalized for two weeks and totally dependent on me for her day to day life.The job was difficult but to help people in their most difficult times is the best sacrifice I can do for humanity.After 2 months and 10 days,she passed away. As a caregiver,I am very compassionate,caring,patient and understanding.As a worker,I am organize,easy to learn,adoptable and quite smart. I worked to Shulamit Frish as a live in caregiver for 3 yrs.and 5 months.I started last Nov.2007.Then April 2011,she died due to mild stroke and other complications after I went for a short vacation in the Phil.last March,2011.Ima as I called her was in a wheelchair,she walked in halicon but very very slowly and therefore needed my close assistance everytime she will stand,transfer to bed and walk in corridor to exercise her legs.Bathing,changing her clothes,putting and changing diapers,feeding,giving pills,measuring her blood pressure and sugar,taking her to hospital or clinic,arranging her to bed and making massage on her legs are my day to day job on her.

After my first employer died last April 27,2011,her daughter in law took me to take care of her very sick mother,sufferring from skin cancer.I took care of her while she was having chemotheraphy in hospital.I slept beside her in hospital when she was under chemotheraphy,when she was sent home she was a bed ridden.I bathed her on bed,took her sugar and blood pressure once or twice a week,feed her.gave her all the pills,changed her diapers and do the household and cooking chores.These comprises my day to day work to her,till she died because the cancer deteriorated already all her body system.
